A Milestone Decision
Nothing quite beats being stranded somewhere beautiful with nothing but a rained-out all-inclusive resort and Netflix to soothe your troubled mind. Yet, there I was, trying to enjoy a milestone birthday. And infinitely troubled by something. I didn’t LOVE my firm anymore. After 10 years in business, my mode of operation became like that old ratty concert t-shirt you can’t bear to throw away.
It barely provided coverage. It was full of holes. And I could no longer pretend that people couldn’t see right through it.
An Entertainment-Driven Decision Gateway
I turned to my partner and said, “I’m a hack.” I was watching the TV series Hacks at the time. I have experienced the dream, the top of the game, and the ultimate time freedom to go on not one but three trips for my milestone birthday. Life was lifing great. But something in there told me. Nope. It’s time to make a decision.
Reinforcing My Belief
